The HEAL KATH project not abandoned, resumption plans await Asantehene’s return – Sammy Adu Boakye

Chairman of the HEAL KATH Project, Sammy Adu Boakye, has assured the public that the initiative has not been abandoned despite recent setbacks.

Speaking on Kessben FM, Mr. Adu Boakye explained that the project encountered a few challenges following the change in government, which affected its progress. However, he emphasized that efforts are ongoing to get the project back on track.

According to him, key stakeholders remain committed to the success of the initiative, which seeks to support the development and modernization of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).

Mr. Adu Boakye disclosed that discussions on the future of the project will continue once the Asantehene returns from his trip abroad. He expressed confidence that a clear roadmap for the resumption of activities will be established thereafter.

He reiterated the importance of the HEAL KATH Project in improving healthcare infrastructure at KATH and called for continued public support as plans are finalized for its next phase.
