I’d Put Them Before the Firing Squad – Kwadwo Yeboah Explodes Over Abronye’s Attacks on Elders

By Maurice Otoo

Former Ayawaso West Wuogon NPP Youth Organizer, Kwadwo Yeboah, has launched a blistering attack on Bono Regional Chairman Kwame Baffoe over what he describes as persistent insults against elderly and respected figures in society.

Speaking on the growing controversy surrounding Abronye’s comments and subsequent arrest on Kessben Maakye show in Accra, Kwadwo Yeboah said he would have taken drastic action if he were President John Dramani Mahama.
“I would put people before the firing squad if I were President Mahama. I won’t sit for young people like Abronye to insult the elderly and go scot-free,” he fumed.

Yeboah questioned Abronye’s conduct and accused him of forgetting where he came from, insisting the NPP played a major role in shaping his political career.
“Abronye didn’t even have dresses when he first came to Accra. He wore the same dress for three days, moving from one radio station to another. It is the NPP that made him who he is today,” he claimed.

The former youth organizer warned that continuous attacks on prominent personalities could damage the party’s public image and weaken its political fortunes.
According to him, politics is built on relationships and numbers, not insults and hostility.
“Party politics is a game of numbers, so if you keep insulting all prominent people in society, who will stand for the party?” he asked.

Kwadwo Yeboah also took a swipe at NPP General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, arguing that party leaders must discipline and educate members to avoid further embarrassment.
“If they want the arrests to stop, then they must educate their people. Kodua would lose even if he stands for assemblyman, considering his inconsistencies, double standards, and hypocrisy,” he stated.
