People held back by their inability to move on from their past, not spiritual forces – Rev Vincent Kankam (Sofo Kankam)

Rev Vincent has encouraged the public to focus on personal growth and letting go of past experiences, saying that many people’s struggles are not spiritual attacks but a result of emotional stagnation.
Speaking on his “Food For Thought” programme on Kessben FM, Vincent Kankam, popularly known as Rev. Vincent Kankam, said many individuals wrongly attribute their challenges to spiritual forces when in reality they are held back by an inability to move on from their past.
He explained that unresolved emotional pain, regrets, and past mistakes often prevent people from making progress in life, adding that personal healing and mindset renewal are key to overcoming stagnation.
According to him, while spiritual beliefs are important to many, individuals must also take responsibility for their personal development and avoid being “dragged back” by experiences they cannot change.
Rev. Kankam urged listeners to focus on forgiveness, self-reflection, and positive thinking, noting that progress in life often begins with a conscious decision to move forward.
