Breman Sanaahene Donates Theatre Equipment to Our Lady of Grace Hospital

The Sanaahene of the Breman Traditional Area, Nana Okofo Nyarkoh Abiem II, has donated critical theatre equipment to Our Lady of Grace Hospital to boost healthcare delivery in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District.

The items presented include bedspreads, thermometer guns, medical tubes, and other essential supplies for the hospital’s theatre unit.

“Government Alone Can’t Do It”

Speaking during the donation, Nana Okofo Nyarkoh Abiem II said quality healthcare requires collective effort.

“For quality healthcare to take place, the government alone can’t do it. I thought it wise to help provide theatre equipment to Our Lady of Grace Hospital to enhance healthcare delivery,” he stated.

The Sanaahene further called on citizens of Asikuma Odoben Brakwa, especially those in the diaspora, to rally behind development efforts in the district.

“This is the time we should all come on board to provide our quota for development. When it comes to supporting the district, we must gather ourselves — especially those in other countries — and contribute,” he urged.

Hospital: Donation Will Make a Big Difference
Receiving the items, Nursing Manager of Our Lady of Grace Hospital, Madam Anastasia Ampah Korsah, expressed gratitude and said the equipment would significantly improve operations at the facility.

“These items are going to help the hospital a lot,” she noted, while appealing to Nana Okofo Nyarkoh Abiem II to continue supporting the hospital.

Traditional Leaders Supporting Health
The donation adds to ongoing efforts by traditional authorities in the Breman Traditional Area to complement government’s work in health, education, and infrastructure.
