Krofrom Market received no funding during Akufo-Addo Era, Says KMA presiding officer, Kwame Frimpong

The Presiding Member of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), Patrick Kwame Frimpong, has said that no financial contribution was made toward the Krofrom Market project during the tenure of former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Speaking on Kessben FM with Wofa Kofi Appiah, Mr. Frimpong claimed that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government did not allocate funds toward the construction of the Krofrom Market throughout its time in office.

“Throughout Nana Addo’s administration, not even a penny was invested in the Krofrom Market project,” he stated, suggesting that the lack of funding contributed to delays in completing the long-standing market development..
