High Unemployment in Ghana: Get something doing with your hands or NPP and NDC will continue to use you as football – Dr Smart Sarpong

Dr. Smart Sarpong, has advised young people in Ghana to develop practical skills and engage in productive activities rather than relying solely on politics for opportunities.
Speaking on Kessben TV during a programme hosted by KOD, Dr. Sarpong warned that the country’s high unemployment situation requires young people to be proactive about their future.
He cautioned that without acquiring skills or starting their own ventures, many young people risk being manipulated by political parties such as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
“Get something doing with your hands, or the NPP and NDC will continue to use you as a football,” he said during the discussion.
Dr. Sarpong stressed that skills training, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance are essential steps for addressing unemployment and empowering the youth to become economically independent.
His comments come at a time when youth unemployment remains a major concern in Ghana, with many graduates and young people searching for stable jobs across the country.
