Rev. Vincent Kankam has explained that one of the reasons Christians close their eyes when praying is to avoid distractions and maintain concentration.
Speaking on his programme, Food for Thought, Rev. Kankam stressed that closing one’s eyes during prayer helps minimise distractions from the surrounding environment.
He further cautioned that many things people see can be deceptive, urging Christians to remain focused and avoid allowing external appearances to distract them during prayer.
