Mahama’s Nkoko Nkitinkiti project has been successful to the point that in Offinso people have started feasting from it – Offinso South MCE Frank Owusu Amoah

The Municipal Chief Executive for Offinso South Municipal, Frank Owusu Amoah, says the poultry initiative under President John Dramani Mahama is already yielding positive results in the area.
Speaking on Kessben FM during a discussion with broadcaster Wofa Kofi Appiah, the MCE noted that the Nkoko Nkitinkiti project has been successful to the extent that many residents in Offinso have started benefiting directly from it.
According to him, the initiative, which focuses on poultry production, is helping to boost local food supply while creating economic opportunities for residents involved in the programme.
Mr. Owusu Amoah explained that the project has made poultry products more accessible in the municipality, adding that some community members are already “feasting” from the benefits as production increases.
He further stated that such agricultural initiatives have the potential to strengthen local economies and support food security if properly implemented and sustained.
The Nkoko Nkitinkiti project forms part of broader efforts aimed at promoting poultry farming and reducing reliance on imported chicken in Ghana.
