Every church I attend, the Pastors say it’s Bawumia they want – Bantama MP,  Hon. Asenso Boakye

Bantama Member of Parliament, Francis Asenso Boakye, has revealed that support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia remains strong within religious circles, particularly among Christian leaders.

Speaking on Kessben FM during an interview with Wofa Kofi Appiah, the MP stated that in churches he attends, pastors consistently express their preference for Dr. Bawumia as the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer.

According to Asenso Boakye, these sentiments reflect a broader confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s leadership and vision for the country.

He emphasized that the party is determined to sustain and consolidate this support, adding that the NPP will “ensure that we maintain him as the flagbearer” going into future elections.
