NPP delegates should choose a candidate who doesn’t speak ill of others & will unite the party after the primaries – Dr Nsiah Asare backs Bawumia

Dr. Nsiah Asare has called on delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to choose a flagbearer who refrains from speaking ill of others and has the ability to unite the party after the primaries.
Speaking on Kessben FM with KOD, Dr. Asare said the internal cohesion is critical for the NPP’s success in future elections, and this begins with the choice of a candidate who campaigns with respect and maturity.
He cautioned that divisive language and personal attacks during the primaries can weaken the party and make reconciliation difficult afterward.
In this regard, Dr. Nsiah Asare urged delegates to vote for former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, describing him as a calm and unifying figure who focuses on ideas rather than insults.
He emphasized that selecting a leader who promotes unity and mutual respect will strengthen the NPP and position the party effectively for the challenges ahead.
