Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been described as the driving force behind Ghana’s Fourth Industrial Revolution, centered on digitalization, by Dr. Ekua Amoakoh.
Speaking in an interview on Kessben FM’s Amansan Tie with host KOD Dr. Amoakoh said the former vice president has played a pivotal role in advancing Ghana’s digital agenda, introducing innovative systems that have transformed public service delivery, financial inclusion, and governance.
She highlighted initiatives such as digital payments, the Ghana Card, and the digitization of government services as clear evidence of his visionary leadership.
Dr. Amoakoh stressed that Dr. Bawumia’s depth of knowledge in economics and technology sets him apart from his peers within the New Patriotic Party (NPP). She described him as unmatched in terms of ideas, competence, and global outlook, making him the most suitable candidate for the NPP flagbearership position.
She added that Ghana’s future in a fast evolving digital world requires a leader with foresight and innovation, qualities she firmly believes Dr. Bawumia embodies.
