Rev. Kankam, speaking on his show on Kessben FM, stressed that self-improvement is not optional, it is essential.
He explained that when individuals fail to invest in developing their skills, mindset, and spiritual well-being, they inadvertently create opportunities for negativity and opposition to thrive.
In his view, stagnation becomes a silent invitation for adversaries to interfere with one’s progress.
He encouraged listeners to take charge of their personal advancement, highlighting that upgrading oneself, through education, hard work, prayer, or self-discipline, builds resilience and reduces vulnerability to external attacks or hidden detractors.
Uplifting oneself, he noted, is a continuous journey that strengthens one’s capacity to rise above challenges.
