Hon. Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah donates GH¢10,000 to Mankranso Senior High School, Pledges to renovate science laboratory
The Member of Parliament for Ahafo Ano South West, Hon. Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah, has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to education and youth empowerment by donating GH¢10,000 to Mankranso Senior High School.
The gesture comes in recognition of the school’s outstanding performance that earned them a place in the semi-finals of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), a historic achievement for the institution.
Hon. Dapaah commended the students, teachers, and management for their hard work, discipline, and determination. He noted that their remarkable performance had brought pride not only to the school but to the entire Ahafo Ano South West Constituency and the Ashanti Region at large.
In addition to the monetary support, the MP announced plans to renovate the school’s science laboratory, ensuring that students have access to a conducive environment for learning and practical experiments. According to him, investing in science education is key to nurturing innovation and preparing young people for future challenges.
The headmaster of Mankranso SHS, on behalf of the staff and students, expressed deep gratitude to Hon. Dapaah for his generosity and continued support. He assured the MP that the funds and the promised renovation would go a long way to enhance teaching and learning, particularly in science and technology.
