If you can’t zip your mouth on confidential issues, you’re a dead man walking -Rev Vincent Kankam (Sofo Kankam)

Rev Vincent Kankam has issued a strong warning to the public about the dangers of talking loosely about confidential matters.
Rev Kankam, known for his personal development and spiritual guidance, used the popular morning segment to highlight how the lack of discretion is silently destroying lives, families, careers, and institutions in Ghana and beyond.
Rev Kankam didn’t mince words. “Some people are dead spiritually, socially, financially, and emotionally, all because they couldn’t keep their own matters private. They talked themselves into their own downfall,” he declared.
He explained that a person who cannot control their tongue is walking into disaster. Whether it’s personal problems, sensitive business plans, family disagreements, hospital cases, or school matters, oversharing is often the first step toward crisis.
Rev Kankam touched on multiple spheres of life, workplaces, hospitals, marriages, schools, families, and businesses, where confidentiality is not just important, but essential.
He advised employees and managers to keep internal matters private, especially during transitions, promotions, or crisis management.
He reminded healthcare professionals that breaking patient confidentiality is not just unethical, but dangerous and spiritually costly.
He emphasized that not every quarrel or issue should leave the four walls of the home.
He urged teachers and administrators to protect student information, warning that careless words can destroy a child’s future.
Rev Kankam urged people to stop trusting everyone with their private lives and to stop broadcasting confidential issues even on social media. He called on the public to develop emotional discipline and wisdom in communication.
