Ayawaso West Municipal Assembly affirms its commitment to empowering the youth

The Municipal Chief Executive Officer for the Ayawaso West Municipal Assembly Hon.Dr. Michael Mensah has affirmed his commitment to empowering the youth in the employment sector.
Speaking during his first official engagement with the chiefs and Queen mothers in the municipal assembly noted that the role of chiefs in nation building is very vital so therefore urged the traditional rules to be supportive to his vision and the agenda of resetting Ghana.
According to MCE his major focus will be based on promoting revenue generation for the development of the constituency and also will regelate building permit for a proper settlement.
He further added that he will make security a topmost consideration in a way of ensuring peace and safety of all constituency in the Ayawaso West Municipal Assemble.
Hon.Dr. Michael Mensah also noted that he will ensure development thrive in the fore corners of the Assemble and will promote the preservation of the local language in the municipality.
He urged the youth to refrain from abusing drugs and to focus on taking advantage of government initiatives to help them realize their full potentials for national development.
He also added that he is closely collaborating with the various government agencies to provide jobs for the youth across the municipality.
Some of the kings and queens who graced the event the event also shared their excitement for participating in the event and pledged to support his vision and mission .
