Bibiani Goldstars vs Kotoko: My Facebook post triggered for the right thing to be done or the Bibiani Goldstars people would have prevented the TV crew from showing the game live  – Nii Darko 

Seth Nii Darko, a member of Asante Kotoko’s communications team, has credited his recent Facebook post for prompting the necessary actions to address threats made by some Bibiani GoldStars fans against a TV crew planning to broadcast the Ghana Premier League match between GoldStars and Kotoko.

Speaking on Kessben FM, Nii Darko explained that his social media intervention was pivotal in bringing the issue to light and ensuring that the appropriate measures were taken.

According to Nii Darko, his post highlighted the intimidation faced by the TV crew, which included threats of violence if the match was aired live. He emphasized that such actions were unacceptable and needed immediate attention.

The post quickly garnered widespread attention, leading to swift responses from both the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the management of Bibiani GoldStars.

Stakeholders are hopeful that such incidents will be prevented in the future, ensuring a safe and conducive environment for all involved in Ghanaian football.
