“Though he was not working, he was still buying gifts and more for her” – Level 100 student ends his life after partner cheated on him on campus
A level 100 student at the University of Education, Winneba, is said to have killed himself after discovering that his lover had cheated on him.
According to reports, the student killed himself by hanging on Wednesday, April 16, after a tragic event involving his girlfriend.
The young man reportedly passed out after he unexpectedly saw his partner in an intimate relationship with someone else at Ghana Universities Staff Superannuation Scheme (GUSSS) Hall Two, according to eyewitness reports.
It is thought that the incident’s emotional toll had a part in his choice to end his life.
His body is still being held by the Winneba police for additional examination.
According to Kessben FM’s Mireku Nyanpong, the alleged girlfriend is set to be invited by police for questioning as investigations have commenced.
