Supporting Law Enforcement: MP for Krowor supports Kpeshie and Nungua Police Command with 5 motorbikes to aid their operations

On Saturday, April 5, 2025, the Member of Parliament for Krowor, Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, presented five motorbikes to the Kpeshie Division and Krowor District Commands of the Ghana Police Service. This donation, made on behalf of her constituency, is part of her ongoing efforts to support law enforcement agencies in safeguarding the lives and property of her constituents.
The motorbikes are intended to address the longstanding transportation challenges faced by the police in the Krowor municipality, which have made effective patrols difficult. These issues have contributed to a worrying rise in crime over recent months. The donation is seen as a vital stopgap measure to improve police mobility and enhance their ability to respond swiftly to incidents.
In her remarks, MP Agnes Lartey reaffirmed her commitment to further supporting the Divisional and District police offices in acquiring the vehicles they need for more efficient policing across the municipality. She emphasized that security remains a top priority for her, highlighting plans to construct strategically located police posts within underserved areas of the constituency. These efforts aim to improve visibility and ensure quicker responses to distress calls.
“I am deeply grateful for the support of members of the Constituency Executive Committee and Honorable Assembly Members who were present at the event,” said Lartey. “Together, with continued collaboration between the Police and the community, we can build the Krowor we all envision.”
This donation is a significant step in strengthening the police force’s capabilities and ensuring that Krowor remains a safe and secure community for all its residents.
