Election 2024: Bawumia officially submits presidential nomination forms to Electoral Commission

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has turned in his nomination paperwork at the Electoral Commission office.

Alongside him were Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, his running mate, and his spouse Alma Pokua Adade-Prempeh. His wife Samira Bawumia was also with him.

To show support and solidarity, party officials from the National Chairman, Stephen Ntim, General Secretary, Justin Koduah Frimpong, Majority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, and other prominent NPP members are also present at the EC.

Later in the day, John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, is anticipated to submit his nomination.
