Ghanaians slept in darkness for 4 years under John Mahama’s government – George Krobea Asante, NPP Deputy Director of Communications

George Krobea Asante, the Deputy Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has said Ghanaians slept in darkness for 4 years under John Mahama’s government and thus should take it easy on the current government amid the reoccurring power crises.

He made this striking statement about the tenure of former President John Mahama and his administration, NDC.

“Under the incompetent administration of the Former President John Mahama and the NDC, Ghanaians slept in darkness for 4 years,” he said.

He also mentioned that there were serious hardships Ghanaians faced such as the ban on public sector employment.

“Nurses who completed within that year were home, and that is on record”

Mr George Asante further added that “Ex-President John Mahama) was not able to meet IMF conditionality, hence the freezing of public sector employment.
