Former Ebusua Dwarfs boss Professor J.K. Mintah has been appointed second-in-command to acting Black Stars coach Maxwell Konadu ahead of the two games against Guinea in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Prof Mintah is with the team at their camp in Casablanca preparing for the weekend clash.
Konadu is acting as the coach of the four-time African champions following the exit of Kwesi Appiah on September 12.
Mintah, who is the Black Stars team psychologist, has accepted his new role for the two matches in Casablanca and Tamale on Saturday and Wednesday respectively, according to a communication from the Ghana FA.
Ghana are looking for a substantive coach after parting ways with Appiah.
