Microsoft unveils Windows 10
The launch event in San Francisco was mostly what we expected: Microsoft wants to make Windows 10 a killer Operating System (OS) for all of those disaffected mouse-and-keyboard users — both normal Desktop users like you and I, and also the big enterprise customers who were rather displeased with Windows 8′s Metro interface.
Windows 10′s new features include a multiple desktop – A feature Mac users have enjoyed for years: the ability to create and swap between different desktops.
The company didn’t provide a timeline for when it would announce new consumer-focused features, let alone when Windows 10 would be available to the public. Microsoft typically shows off Windows features incrementally to customers to try them out and provide feedback.
