I introduced street comedy in Ghana – Kwappiah (Video)

Emmanuel Appiah better known in the showbiz circles as Kwappiah has emphatically stated that he brought street comedy to light in Ghana.

Kwappiah had featured in the a number of Kumawood movies but shot to a higher fame following his popular street comedy vox pop known as Fabi ye serye3.

Speaking on Kessben TV’s Around Town show with Koo Fante, Kwappiah stressed that, Ghana had not ever witnnesed a comedy show perfomed on the streets before he introduced fabi ye sere3 on the screens.

The comic skit maker commended other comedians who have followed his pattern on street comedy which has now become a trend in Ghana.

However, Kwappiah added that it takes much hardwork to stay relevant in the comic industry as many turn to follow blindly who eventually fade soon.
