Lady who took the video shot of the taxi driver and ensured his act trended speaks (Video)
The honesty of Mr Ackon, a taxi driver who returned an amount of GHC8,400 to the owner of the money was paid off through the assistance of the woman who took a video shot of the whole act when he returned the money.
After the video went viral, many people including the vice president Dr Bawumia reached out to the Taxi driver to reward him.
Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia donated GH¢20,000 to him after his act of honesty went viral.
Mr Ackon has become an exemplary figure who has been a subject matter on social and traditional media space since Wednesday.
There are obviously many other Taxi drivers who equally return goods when found in their cars that have not come out publicly.
The lady who has been identified as Empress speaking on Kessben TV with Kwame Appiah Kubi said she could not have sat aloof and watched for this act to have gone unnoticed, a reason why she picked up a phone and started recording the whole scene.
She said after taking the shots, she personally ensured that she will circulate the video to her media friends to make the act go viral.
