Algerian Ambassador-Designate To Ghana Presents Open Letters To Ayorkor Botchwey
The Ambassador-designate of Algeria to Ghana, Ali Redjei has presented his open letters to the Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Minister of Ghana, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey.
Mr Redjei made the presentation at the Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Ministry in Accra on Monday, January 10, 2022.
In his remarks to present the letters, the Algerian envoy expressed his appreciation for the opportunity given him to present two copies of the letter accreditation as the ambassador-designate of Algeria to Ghana.
He arrived in Ghana in December 2021.
He conveyed the fraternity greetings of the Foreign Minister of Algeria to Madam Ayorkor Botchwey.
He promised to work towards boosting the bilateral relations between Algeria and Ghana, especially at the political and international levels.
He spoke about the need to consolidate the stability and security in Africa.
He thanked the Minister for receiving him warmly.
Madam Ayorkor Botchwey on her part recalled the very strong relations that has existed between Ghana and Algeria dating back to colonial era.
She expressed appreciation for the strong support that Ghana received from Algeria when it was bidding for the United Nations Security Council.
She stated that there were over 100 Ghanaian students in Algeria, saying Algeria has seen it fit to contribute to the human resource development of Ghana.
Touching further on the bilateral relations between the two countries, she stated that in the area of trade, she said there was the need for more collaboration.
