Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku has hinted at a significant development on the horizon that could uplift Ghanaian football and restore confidence among its supporters and stakeholders.
Speaking on Kessben FM, the GFA boss revealed that the Association is preparing to announce a major sponsorship deal in the coming weeks, one he believes will bring renewed “hope and excitement” to the football community.
“In the coming weeks, the GFA will make an announcement that will bring hope and excitement to Ghana football,” Okraku stated. “We are working tirelessly behind the scenes, and very soon, Ghanaians will see the results.”
Since assuming office, President Okraku and his administration have been focused on rebranding and revitalizing the domestic game, which has struggled in recent years with funding, infrastructure, and fan engagement. Securing credible and long-term sponsorships has been a central part of that mission.
Okraku also used the opportunity to call on Ghanaians to remain supportive and patient as the Association works to rebuild the foundations of Ghanaian football. He encouraged fans to continue following the local leagues and supporting their clubs, promising that better days are ahead.
