NPP’s George Krobea Asante Charges TESCON Members to Intensify Communication Efforts

The Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), George Krobea Asante, has urged members of the Tertiary Students Confederacy of NPP (TESCON), the intellectual wing of the NPP, to step up their communication efforts to promote the party’s ideals and achievements.

Speaking at the UG TESCON ALUMNI CONNECT AND FRESHERS ORIENTATION held at the Legon City Campus and Legon Main Campus, Asante emphasized the importance of communication in politics. He encouraged TESCON members to leverage new media platforms to propagate the party’s enviable records and achievements.

Krobea also advised members to reach out to every single student on campus especially the first year students, letting them understand and appreciate the ideas of the NPP. He commended the students for their continuous efforts, despite the disappointing outcome of the 2024 elections.

Other dignitaries present at the event included Hon. Asenso Boakye, founder of TESCON and MP for Bantama; Madam Akosua Manu, former NPP 2024 Adenta Parliamentary aspirant and former Deputy National Youth Authority CEO; and Patron of UG TESCON.

Krobea concluded by urging TESCON members to take advantage of new media platforms to promote the party’s achievements and ideals. He assured them that with intensified communication efforts, the party will be well-positioned for the 2028 elections.

The event was part of efforts to mobilize support and energize the party’s base ahead of the 2028 elections. Krobea’s message was clear: the time for action is now, and every member of TESCON has a critical role to play in shaping the party’s future.

In a demonstration of his commitment to empowering the youth and promoting the party’s ideals, Krobea Asante donated an undisclosed sum of money to support TESCON activities on campus.

The UG TESCON ALUMNI CONNECT AND FRESHERS ORIENTATION was a resounding success, with many students expressing their enthusiasm and commitment to the party’s cause.
