The Salifu Ibrahim to Kotoko is like Charles Taylor to Kotoko but if the Coach doesn’t want him, the fans shouldn’t force him on the Coach – Daniel Bomfah
Ex Asante Kotoko player, Daniel Bomfah has likened Salifu Ibrahim’s potential move to Asante Kotoko from Hearts of Oak to the famous Charles Taylor move from Hearts to Kotoko in the early 2000s.
The former striker speaking on Kessben TV’s Extra Time with Tony Muntana however cautioned that if the head Coach of Kotoko, Prosper Ogum objects to Salifu’s move to Kotoko, the supporters who are trying to purchase the player for Kotoko should not force the player on the coach.
“With Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s game against Hearts in the Democracy Cup, the players should go all out. We don’t have friendly games with Kotoko vs Hearts games.
On Salifu’s potential move to Kotoko, It’s like Charles Taylor’s move to Kotoko years ago but if the coach doesn’t want him, the supporters should force the player on him” He said.
Salifu’s Contract with Hearts of Oak runs out at the end of the month and has been hugely linked to joining Asante Kotoko or signing for a foreign club.
