Charles Owusu Juanah Esq., a lawyer for the National Cathedral project, has attributed the controversies surrounding the construction of Ghana’s National Cathedral to what he described as spiritual opposition.

Speaking in an interview on Kessben FM with KOD, Mr. Juanah stated that the challenges facing the project go beyond the physical and political realms.

According to him, “Satan is the one working against building Ghana’s national cathedral; he knows that if it is built, a lot of people will be saved from hell and go to heaven.”.

The National Cathedral, which has been the subject of national debate over funding, priorities, and transparency, continues to divide public opinion.

While critics raise concerns about governance and expenditure, supporters like Juanah see the project as a vital spiritual asset for the nation.
