RTU Charged by GFA over alleged player impersonation scandal involving game vs Dreams FC

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is investigating Real Tamale United (RTU) for a possible player impersonating incident that occurred during their Ghana Premier League match versus Dreams FC.

After RTU fielded unregistered players in the match, and the first team players boycotted the game in protest over unpaid salary and perks, an investigation was started.

Suspicions of impersonation were aroused when it was revealed that the team sheet contained the names of first-team players who did not accompany the team to Dawu, intensifying the dispute.
