Akosombo Dam Spillage: Akufo Addo reiterates commitment to assist all victims

President Akufo Addo during his address in the Volta region stressed that he is the president and thus once his people are suffering he can’t sit unbothered.

Following the massive flood in the areas triggered by the Akosombo Dam Spillage the president assured that he would try his possible best to help the affected areas.

He said when he took the oath of presidency he became the president of the whole country and not for a particular part. He said the government is willing to do anything in its power to assist and make sure all the affected people get fully assisted.

“If I was looking at the number of people who voted for me I would not be here because you did not vote for me but I am still your president and I am here to help”

He added that if it comes to issues like this politics does not count and it is his responsibility to help the people of Ghana because he is the President for all.
