Why I divorced Chris Attoh after 2 years of marriage – Damilola Adegbite opens up for the first time
Nollywood actress, Damilola Adegbite, has finally revealed why she divorced her colleague and ex-husband, Chris Attoh after only two years of marriage.
Recall that the couple met on the set of the award-winning soap opera “Tinsel.”
They welcomed a son together in 2014, and got married in a private ceremony in 2015.
However, Damilola Adegbite and Chris Attoh officially divorced in September 2017.
Speaking during an interview with prominent journalist, Chude Jideonwo, Damilola revealed that they divorced because they had realized that “love is not enough” and that this was the reason for their separation.
According to her, she has no regrets about ending her marriage.
Speaking further, the single mother revealed that she still holds Chris in high regard because he is the father of their son.
She pointed out that love is only one of the many qualities that are necessary when choosing someone to spend one’s life with, and it is not the only deciding factor.
