Kotoko preparing official bid to hijack Konadu Yiadom’s deal with Hearts of Oak – Details

The phobians apparently sealed a transfer move for WAFA center-back Konadu Yiadom after the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League season ended but things may turn a different twist as Asante Kotoko have moved in with the chase to land Konadu in Kumasi.

Reports gathered by Kessben Sports indicate the Kumasi-based football club are ready to pay more than what Accra Hearts of have agreed with the defender.

Hearts have over the years have kept tabs on the young centre-back for a long time having impressed in the Ghana Premier League in recent years.

Sources revealed to Kessben Sports that Konadu has signed a pre-contract agreement with Accra Hearts of Oak with G$C50,000 involved.

Hearts of Oak have reportedly paid 15%, $15,000 of the total amount and is expected to pay the remaining balance of the transfer fee in September.

Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko have also shown keen interest in Yiadom to strengthen their defence as they represent Ghana in the CAF champions league.
