We will quit all activities involving the Party – TESCON president

TESCON president Emmanuel Darko has reiterated that the tertiary Students Confederacy of the NPP will soon abandon all activities of the party.

This follows after, a totalling around 291 individuals, were denied the right to vote in the 2022 NPP National Delegates Conference. This is the outcome of an injunction issued against them.

Prior to the Delegates’ conference on Saturday, 16th July 2022, The NPP’s Peter Mac Manu, Chairman of the Election Committee, informed the delegates.

“Because of an injunction, our TESCON delegates and local proxy voters, numbering 15 and 291 respectively, will be unable to vote.” “We got the injunction last night,” he explained.

Emmanuel Darko speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News stressed that TESCON has been treated unfairly over the years but the party hierarchy and thus will soon boycott all party activities.
