NPP Elections: The money we are taking is for T&T & food but not bribe – Delegates
Delegates of the New Patriotic Party, (NPP) have refuted reports circulating in the local media that they have taken monies from various aspirants to determine their line of voting.
According to some of the delegates who spoke with Kessben TV’s reporters at the elections grounds, the monies which they took were meant for transportation and food.
They stressed that they have the party’s interests at heart and thus won’t forsake the supreme interest of the party for an individual’s supreme interest.
To them, the outcome of the National Delegate Elections will play a significant role in their party’s bid to retain power and break the 8 in 2024
The National Delegations conference of the ruling New Patriotic Party is currently underway at the Accra Sports Stadium (16th July 2022)
