Ghana’s Economy: It will take 50 years to cover the hole NPP has created – Bernard Oduro Takyi (Video)

Member of the national communication team of the National Democratic Congress, Bernard Oduro Takyi has said that it will take more work for the next government of Ghana to cover the ditch which has been created by the NPP Government.

According to the outspoken NDC member, the NPP Government since taking office in 2017 has taken the nation back instead of growing the economy to relieve the hardship of the citizenry.

Bernard Oduro Takyi speaking on Kessben FM’s Maakye with Kwame Appiah Kubi expressed worry over the increasing prices of petroleum products.

He stressed that since the NPP took over from the NDC, the Tema Oil Refinery has turned into a white elephant.

“It will take 50 years to cover the hole the NPP government has created. Kwame Nkrumah gave us the Tema Oil refinery, what has been its usefulness since the NPP government took over.

We have oil in this country and we have an oil refinery here but our oil is taken to another country to get the oil refined. This and more are some of the reasons why fuel prices are high in the country. An NDC government will ensure that the Tema Oil refinery is fully utilized” He Said.
