NPP maintaining Chairman Wontumi will make the job easier for NDC in 2024 – Joseph Yasmin (Video)

Former deputy Minister of Youth and Sports under the erstwhile NDC administration, Joseph Yamin has stated that the ruling New Patriotic Party will be going to opposition after the 2024 general elections.

According to the outspoken member of the National Democratic Congress, the regional executives elect in the party’s recent regional elections are a clear indication that they will lose the 2024 Elections.

Yamin speaking on Kessben FM Breaking News with Nyakoh Abronomah reckoned that NPP maintaining almost all their regional chairmen only signifies a doom for the party.

“Maintaining almost all their regional chairman is a clear indication of them going to the opposition in 2024. Their votes in the Ashanti region dropped from 76% to 71% from 2016 to 2020.

“And In the Bono region, we had only one seat but in 2020, we got 12 seats under the stewardship of the people they have maintained. So what it means is that under these people their numbers are dropping and it is likely to drop more in 2024.” He said.
