NPP Wishes Ghanaians Happy Eid-Ul-Adha

As Muslims in Ghana and across the World celebrate Eid-Ul-Adha, today, the NPP is pleased to wish them a joyous celebration. This celebration follows the commemoration of Arafat, which was observed yesterday, in Makkah, to mark Holy Prophet Mohammed’s Final Sermon, signaling the completion of the Message of Islam.
Eid-Ul-Adha, in essence, marks the culmination of the holy pilgrimage to Makkah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and even more significantly, it is a commemoration of Prophet Ibrahim’s famous sacrifice to Almighty Allah.
Whilst celebrating this important festivity, the Party reminds the Muslim Ummah to endeavor to give practical meaning to the essence of this great Day, which is to reflect on their sacrifices, first of all, to their Maker, and then to fellow humans, and to society at large.
Finally, the NPP, while appealing to the Muslim Ummah to use this solemn occasion to renew their covenant with Almighty Allah, also implores them to say special prayers for Ghana and the World to see an immediate end to the devastating Russia-Ukraine war and also overcome the Covid-induced global economic crisis.
We are in this together, and certainly, in the name of Almighty ALLAH, (Subhaanahu Wa Ta Aala), this too, in the words of His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, SHALL pass to the glory of Allah and country.
