Robbers attack: Administrative manager of Ashgold gives vivid account of how they survived, commend their driver (Video)
The Ashgold team bus was attacked by armed men while they were returning to Obuasi after playing guest to Accra Hearts of Oak in the Ghana premier league.
The Administrative manager of the club, Daniel Bioh speaking with Oheneba Kwame Nyame on Kessben FM’s Kick off Sports show confirmed the robbers shot at the bus three times.
He stated the armed men targeted the driver of the bus but through the mercy of God and the skills displayed by their driver, they were able to dodge all the three gunshots which were targeted at the driver.
Daniel Bioh noted that the incident happened around Assin off the Accra-Kumasi highway during the wee hours of Sunday night.
After escaping the attack, the lights of the bus went off but they managed to eventually get to Obuasi safely without any scratch on the people who were on the bus.
