Asene-Manso-Akroso DC accused of syphoning over GHC20k meant for the disabled (Video)
The District Chief Executive officer of Asene-Manso-Akroso in the Eastern Region, Alex Inkoom has been accused of syphoning GHC 24,000 meant for the people living with disabilities in his district.
The members of the National Democratic Congress in Asene Manso cannot phantom the explanation rendered about how the GHC24,000 went missing.
According to the NDC youth organizer in Manso, Awal, they were told that the money which was meant for the people living with disabilities was snatched by unknown men.
Speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News with Kwasi Ntiamoah, Awal stated that the outfit of the DCE told them the money was snatched by some young men in a Taxi after they got out from the bank.
According to him, the money was withdrawn from the bank by one young man who has been identified as Amoah who works for the DCE.
They believe either the Amoah or the DCE might have given a hint to the robbers.
