The increment in Fuel prices is as a result of the increase in the price of petroleum products on the world market however, the figures from the pumps show that prices of petrol and diesel keeps increasing all the time. In our modernistic world, fuel plays an important role in almost all spectrum of human life.
Fuel that was sold at GH¢ 6.90. in the year 2021 is now sold at 10ghc per litre. Some Ghanaians have reacted to the increment in fuel prices as bad governance under the NPP government.
According to them, vice president Bawumia has a hand in the increment of fuel prices because he stated that, “we have arrested the depreciation of the cedi and brought down inflation and interest rates which was false.
Others too mentioned that, the price of petroleum products on the world market has affected the entire world so Ghanaians should bear with the Government. Should Managers of the economy for the rise of economy to be blamed?
