Revealed: 9 drowned students were returning home after they went to work on Headmaster’s farm

ASP Zokou has narrated how the nine students of the St Johns RC school were drowned after their boat capsized on the Saboba river in the northern region.

In his narration to Ali Baba Dankambari on Kessben FM/TV, he disclosed that the students apparently went to work on the farmland of their headmaster.

According to him, 32 students went to the farmland of the headmaster to work but unfortunately, when they were returning, nine of them got drowned when their boat capsized on the river.

ASP Zokou noted that on the day when the incident happened, 7 bodies were found dead. Another body was later found the following day with the remaining one yet to be found.

The under-fire headmaster has since reported himself to the police after the incident.
