Popular thief in Kumasi Magazine “Obee” finally arrested by Suame Police

The Suame Police command on Tuesday 19th October 2021 arrested a popular robber who is widely known as ‘Obee’.

Eyewitnesses say he was grabbed physically at Tarkwa Macro after he was caught stealing a mobile phone.

After receiving some slaps by the mechanics at Kumasi Magazine, ‘Obee’ was caged and locked in a tiny cage that is commonly used to store sachet water.

The mechanics intended to live the thief, Obee in the cage till the next day but was lucky when some police officers from the Suame police station came for him.

Some eye witness speaking on Breaking News with Ali Baba Dankambari said the thief had been a known criminal in the area for quite some time.

According to the people who work at Magazine, just last month Obee stole Ghc2000 from a shop and made away with a mobile phone which is priced around Ghc650.
