Ejura: Market Women Robbed at Police Checkpoint (Video)

About eight market women who were returning from the Ejura Market were robbed by gunmen at a police checkpoint near Nkoranza.

Kessben FM’s reporter Okatakyie reporting on Breaking News said ever since the youth of Nkoranza clashed with the police, police presence in the area has been minimal.

Unfortunately for the market women, they were robbed at a police checkpoint at a time when there were no police stationed at the checkpoint.

According to them, the robbers who were riding motorbikes had guns pointed at them and threaten to kill them if they don’t give out all their cash.

The robbers reportedly took away a sum of GHC 8000 from the market women.
