“We Should Go Back To Our Roots” – Prof. Ohene Konad

A sociologist at the University of Ghana-Legon, Prof. Ohene Konadu has urged Ghanaian youth to do away with western culture and lifestyle which is hurting society.

According to him, adopting western culture is a disaster. “Let’s go back to our roots to pick our African lifestyle“ he advised.

Speaking on Kessben Media’s “Maakye” breakfast show, Prof. Konadu attributed recent attacks on chiefs and elders by the youth as unfortunate.

“As a country, we need serious orientation of the Ghanaian culture,” Prof. Konadu advised.
