Seniegya Community to Demonstrate over Neglect

Most Ghanaians vote for political parties to win power based on good policies and developmental projects promised them.

Although some cities, towns, villages and small communities are beneficiaries to these policies and developmental projects but that has not been the case for the people Saniegya in the Sekyere east district of Ashanti Region.

Chief of Seniagya, in Sekyere East District of the Ashanti Region, Nana Kusi Amoah II has expressed his dissatisfaction on abandoned toilet facility in the community.

According to the indigenes of the area, the abandoned facility was initiated by President Nana Akufo Addo in his first term of governance 2017/2018 to ensure sanitation in the area but left it uncompleted for the past three years.

Nana Antwi Boasiako, Chief of Asante Akyem Beposo who spoke to Kessben Media’s Ato Kwamina on behalf of Seniagya chief lamented that, the situation has compelled all the community to use dilapidated toilet facility which was built in time immemorial.

Nana futher fumed over lack of other social amenities in the community. He mentioned decay School blocks the students are using which has a chance to trap the students in some days to come.

Among others, are deplorable roads in the area which have been a barrier for the occupants to transport their haverst to Effiduase and Kumasi for market.
