Swansea wait on Ayew

Swansea are sweating on the fitness of star forward Andre Ayew after he pulled out of the Ghana squad because of injury.
Ayew was expected to figure for Ghana in their clash with Canada but reports now claim he picked up a knock in the 2-2 draw with Tottenham at the weekend and will be forced to sit out.
The player managed to complete the 90 minutes and grab the opening goal, but he seems to have picked up a problem along the way.
The exact injury and the extent of it has yet to be revealed but the player is reported to have been in discomfort after the Spurs match and has stayed back for treatment.
Swansea will not want to take any chances with the 25-year-old ahead of crucial Premier League fixtures against Stoke, Aston Villa and Arsenal after the international break.
