Sarkodie to perform at 2015 BET Experience

Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, in addition to receiving a nomination at the 2015 Black Entertainment Television (BET) awards, will be performing at the pre-awards ceremony.
Organisers of the awards revealed Friday that Sarkodie will be one of the artistes who will perform at the 2015 BET Experience.
The rapper has been nominated in the Best International Act: Africa category.
The BET Experience takes place during the BET Awards weekend and brings together thousands of music lovers for a four-day, jam-packed entertainment festival that features some of the world’s best music performers.
Apart from the musical performances, the event also features several other exciting activities including Free Fan Fest, Celebrity Basketball Game, comedy, seminars and the hottest parties.
This won’t be the first time Sarkodie, who won the 2012 Best International Act: Africa award, will be performing at the BET Experience.
Last year, he joined Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage as well as South Africa’s Mafikizolo to perform as part of the “Music around the Globe” presentation.
This year, Sarkodie, born Michael Owusu Addo, will be performing at the event alongside UK artiste Little Simz and South African rapper AKA.
“Breaking NEWS: @LittleSimz @sarkodie & @akaworldwide will all be hitting the @BETExperience stage LIVE in LA!,” BET announced Friday.
Some of the biggest names also announced as performing at the BET Experience from June 25-28 in Los Angeles include Nicki Minaj, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar.
The 2015 BET Awards, hosted by Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross, comes off Sunday, June 28 in Los Angeles.
