NPP Chaos in Ejisu: Demonstration was needless – NPP Member

A communication member of the ruling government(NPP), Awal Mohammed has described the recently held demonstration by some Members of the New Patriotic Party in Ejisu as non-essential.

Some elected members of the recent Polling station elections in Ejisu hit the street to demonstrate against a call for the elections to be redone.

Many members of the party are not happy with how the elections were held, alleging that the current executives rigged the election to favour the preferred candidates.

The Municipal Chief Executive of Ejisu, Samuel O. Frimpong has since added his voice to how the whole election was organized. The demonstration followed after he called for the elections to be redone.

Awal Mohammed, reacting to the current impasse in the Ejisu constituency stated that it was not necessary for the elected executives to have demonstrated.
