Writing on the wall for A/R president of GJA

The Ghana Journalists Association is allegedly to officially announce the removal of Listowel Bukarson as its Ashanti regional president later today, Tuesday June 16.

The defeated Builsa North parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was forced to renounce his position after declaring his intention to contest for a seat in Parliament.

Although he failed in his bid, President of the GJA, Affail Monney said the association will officially announce his exit today.

“By deciding to go partisan and contesting for that political position, he relinquished his office and it’s as clear as water. So we will be coming out clearly to put in black and white that Listowel is no longer the president of the GJA in the Ashanti region,” he said.
